In July 1990, Director Kang of GIBBEUM Hospital opened Seoul Surgical Hospital, the country’s second professional coloanal hospital before the opening of the nation’s first professional colonoscopy clinic in 1991 and the first-ever hernia center in Korea in 2001. After that, he established GIBBEUM Hospital in December 1, 2005 with the vision of 「a hospital that gives love to God and the people」.

Despite its short history, GIBBEUM Hospital is establishing itself as the best coloanal hospital and a hospital that conducts more hernia surgeries than any other hospital.
